This book is the 6th in the series. It has a person vs person conflict. It is about Charlie Bone and his friends. In this mission, their goal is to rescue Asa, a boy who's endowment is that he can turn into a beast at night. They have a few more enemies this time, though.
My favorite part of the story was when Charlie's uncle, Paton, get's attacked by the Wilderness Wolf and Charlie and his friends figure out what and who the wolf is and they can be heroes again.
